Sara Compton - Professional Showjumping Coach
As an accredited EC Competition Coach Specialist, Sara Compton has been an active member of the Canadian showjumping community for the past 35 years. Sara has been training and mentoring up-and-coming riders, as well as working to advance the skill development of elite athletes. Most recently, she has become involved in the training and certification of equine professionals through Equestrian Canada.
Sara’s career working with horses began at the esteemed Spruce Meadows, where she worked as both a rider and a groom. This experience led her to other crucial roles, including her work with Canadian Olympic athlete Brian Anderson and a teaching position at Painted Trak Farms. She is an extensively experienced judge, teacher, and rider in Canada and the United States.
Sara Compton was awarded for her professional showjumping coach skills when she won the prestigious Coach of the Year award by Equestrian Canada in 2022. With Sarah’s outstanding skills and our world-class riding facilities, you’ll quickly advance your riding ability.
Robin Brock
EPIC Stables welcomes Robin Brock to the team! Robin has over 20 years experience, with an extensive background in the equestrian community of Ontario and Quebec. Starting as a competitor and evolving into a coach and trainer, she specializes in hunters, jumpers, and dressage, with a strong foundation in each discipline. Robin began her coaching journey at Westar Farms in Ontario and has collaborated with renowned stables in the region.
Following significant contributions at Wesley Clover Parks enhancing lesson and show programs, she achieved her competition coach certification from Equestrian Canada in 2019. Robin’s recent role as a young horse trainer for the RCMP Musical Ride provided her with valuable exposure to diverse training scenarios, contributing to her professional development.
Robin will be teaching and coaching lessons alongside Sara Compton and providing support as a competition coach during horse shows.
